Basil oil is from the mint family and it's a great replacement for peppermint when feeling congested. It's not as cooling as peppermint but it's just as effective which may be ideal as some people feel colder especially when feeling sick. Also, basil oil is more beneficial than peppermint because it helps the nervous system relax more and induces a deeper sleep, which is helpful for most people who can't sleep when they're too congested. 

Oregano oil has antiviral and antibacterial properties that can help fight off infections and clear congestion, providing relief in the case of sinusitis and allergies.  Inhaling the oil through diffusion with a potent nebulizer can help bring faster relief and help improve breathing.
