The essential oils can be used in place of the spices in mulled wines too, and there’s nothing more welcoming to a winter-chilled guest. This is one of our favorite recipes, which will make for 4 cups of heavenly delicious Hot Red Mulled Wine.
Blend these oils together in 2 tablespoons of honey. Separately, slowly heat up 4 cups of wine in a non-metallic pan (preferable ceramic, or a glass boiler kettle), add the flavored honey with the oils blend, and stir well while still on the heat. When the wine starts to bubble take it off the heat and serve. Merry Christmas!!
